Sometimes the joke is all about the setup.

While Jimmy Fallon doesn’t exactly take it easy on President Trump or any of 45’s appointees/ex-appointees (just listen to the crack about Omarosa and Facebook 45 seconds into today’s clip), the comic is a little gentler than most on late night when it comes to politics. The Kavanaugh hearings are no exception. Jimmy has a hard time hating anyone, even when they’re connected to Trump.

So how did Jimmy draw the conclusion that new SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh isn’t qualified to serve spaghetti?
